Alex Yates is a senior vice president and financial advisor with Pinnacle’s Freddie Mac Small Balance Loan program. He focuses on nationwide loan originations and is responsible for developing and growing relationships with commercial mortgage bankers, brokers and financial institutions throughout the country.

Yates began his career in 2006 and spent nine years with Medalist Capital in Charlotte, NC where he advised clients on the placement of debt and equity capital. His clients included public and private REITs, private equity funds, regional and local developers and family offices.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, he was a Vice President in the Capital Markets Group in the Memphis office of Cushman & Wakefield.

Yates earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Wake Forest University, where he was a scholarship member of the Men’s Golf Team.
