Jim Going

Jim Going is senior vice president and head of business for Pinnacle’s agency multifamily small-balance lending (SBL) team. He joined Pinnacle in 2017.

Jim has more than 25 years of experience providing services to the financial institution sector, primarily specializing in small-balance commercial real estate and multifamily lending. These services include mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, operations, compliance, audits, loan originations, loan acquisitions and disposition and securitizations.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Jim was the chief executive officer of ReadyCap Holdings, LLC, a non-bank specialty finance company that focuses on small-balance commercial real estate and multifamily debt opportunities. Jim also served as managing director of whole loan trading for Stifel Nicolaus, responsible for overseeing the acquisition, marketing and evaluation of loan portfolios on a national basis. He has been asked to speak on the topic of small-balance commercial real estate lending at industry conferences and has been featured and quoted in several industry journals.

Jim earned both a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree from Arkansas State University and has passed the Certified Public Accountants exam.
