Jon brings 23 years of experience in the financial services industry when serving individuals, retirees, families, sole proprietors, corporations and foundations as a financial advisor. He is a part of The Oakley Group.
As a Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, Jon follows a disciplined process of assessing clients’ needs and goals and developing comprehensive strategies designed to meet those needs. He focuses on financial planning, retirement planning, investment management, risk management, and equity and fixed income strategies.
Jon earned both his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his MBA from Middle Tennessee State University. He went on to earn his CRPC® designation from the College for Financial Planning and has served as first vice president and financial consultant at SunTrust Investment Services, Inc.
Originally from Sikeston, Missouri, Jon moved several times during his childhood, eventually settling in Tullahoma, Tennessee, with his family. He currently resides in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife, Lori, and their two sons, Nicholas and Robert.
A member of Brentwood Baptist Church, Jon takes part in various fundraising events for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling to charity golf tournaments around the country. He likes to spend his spare time coaching his sons in golf, baseball, & football.
