Pinnacle Financial Partners has brought on Awa Kane as a financial advisor serving commercial and middle market clients across the National Capital Region. She is based at the firm’s Tysons Corner office.
“Awa has a long track record of helping business owners succeed by understanding the full picture of their financial lives,” said Ken Ayers, area manager. “She knows this market well, and her clients know and trust her. Awa brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial and business banking, most recently serving as a senior business banker with Capital One. Her career also includes a variety of leadership roles at PNC Bank, including relationship manager and de novo branch manager. She specializes in customized credit, cash flow solutions and treasury services for companies in industries like real estate, professional services, IT, healthcare, and government contracting.
Awa earned her bachelor’s degree in acquisition and contract management from Strayer University and is fluent in English and French. She is passionate about giving back to the community and supporting financial education initiatives in the region.
