Clay Hart

Clay Hart is a senior lending officer and leads Pinnacle’s commercial banking group for Middle Tennessee.

Before joining Pinnacle in 2018, Hart was the president of Nashville business banking and retail at Renasant Bank, where he worked for nearly 11 years. Prior to that, he served as a banking officer at Capital Bank and Trust until it was acquired by Renasant.

Hart earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.

He serves on the board of directors for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and Nashville Sports Council, as well as the Alumni Board for the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Hart has served on the Tennessee board of the American Cancer Society and on the Board of Ambassadors for the 2018 Coaches vs. Cancer event. He is also a past board member of Renewal House, the Family Center, Prevent Blindness Tennessee and Friends of the Arts at Belmont.
