Pinnacle is the Triad's No. 1 Best Place to Work for Seventh Consecutive Year
Pinnacle Financial Partners is once again the No. 1 Best Place to Work in the Triad region of North Carolina representing Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point. The Triad Business Journal named Pinnacle to the No.1 spot in the extra-large companies category (greater than 300 associates) for its annual competition to find the region’s top workplaces. This is the seventh year in a row Pinnacle has earned a spot on the list and one of many local workplace awards the firm has won in North Carolina.
“We hire only experienced associates, and time and time again we hear that our culture isn’t like any other bank they’ve ever worked for,” said David Allen, Pinnacle’s regional chairman for Central North Carolina. “They love having the autonomy to serve clients using the wisdom they’ve gained from years in the industry and a culture that prioritizes human connection and collaboration over individual achievement. We’ve created an unbeatable environment where people love their work.”
Associates in the Triad shared their experiences on the anonymous survey from Quantum Workplace that determined the rankings:
“I've worked at seven banks over my 25-year career and have been with Pinnacle for the past 10 years. Pinnacle's culture is unlike any other bank that I've worked at. … We are given the freedom to do our job the way we want and are compensated fairly based on high level results-we ‘win as one.’”
“I have been in banking for 20 years; this is my first year at Pinnacle and I cannot begin to express the difference that working here makes. This company truly cares about their employees and their clients, and it shows... I would give anything if I could have joined this company years ago. I have never been happier in my job than I have been this year, and it is all a direct reflection of this company, the leadership and its core values.”
The Best Places to Work competition is based on third-party research from Quantum Workplace, a leading employee engagement firm. They send anonymous surveys to employees with closed and open-ended questions on culture, and other criteria. Average scores from these surveys determine the final rankings and awards.
