Pinnacle Financial Partners is bringing its distinctive brand of corporate retirement plan services to new markets. The firm has hired Bryan Edwards as a trust services advisor to focus on offering employee retirement benefits to businesses in Charlotte, Asheville and Upstate South Carolina.

Pinnacle reported net income per diluted common share of $1.23 for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2018, compared to net income per diluted common share of $0.35 for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2017, an increase of 251.4 percent.
Pinnacle Financial Partners has hired yet another veteran banker to serve commercial clients in the Charlotte area. Brian Redd has joined the firm as a financial advisor for the commercial client advisory team. He will be based at Pinnacle’s main Charlotte office in Ballantyne.
Pinnacle will release its fourth quarter 2018 financial results on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, after the stock market closes. It will also host a live webcast on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 8:30 a.m. CDT to review its financial results, business outlook for the firm and other matters.
In the fourth quarter of 2018 alone, Pinnacle hired 25 revenue producers across its footprint, 11 of whom are C&I and private banking professionals. Of those, nine are in North and South Carolina, for a total of 35 such advisors hired in the Carolina and Virginia markets since July 2017.
Pinnacle Financial Partners is adding a commercial lending leader in the Upstate. Robert Moore has joined the firm as an area manager and financial advisor helping lead the firm’s client advisory team in Spartanburg. He is based at Pinnacle’s office on East Main Street.
David Shamblin, trust services advisor with Pinnacle Financial Partners, was recently awarded the Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA) professional certification from the American Bankers Association.

Caroline Riggsbee has joined the firm as an area manager and financial advisor helping lead the firm’s client advisory team in the Triangle. She is has 30 years of local experience in financial services and is based at Pinnacle’s Farrington Road office.
James Hare is the top bank advisor in the United States, having earned the No. 1 spot on Bank Investment Consultant magazine’s list of the Top 100 Bank Advisors. Hare has appeared on the list for several years, but this is the first time he has topped it. Pinnacle associates Brock Kidd (No. 3) and Brick Sturgeon (No. 62) also earned spots on the magazine’s annual ranking.
