Two Experienced Financial Advisors Choose Pinnacle

Commercial bankers Max Greer and Raul Colon have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners from Truist, bringing 18 and 13 years of experience, respectively, to their roles at the firm. These additions to Pinnacle’s Winston Salem team are in keeping with the firm’s strategy of hiring seasoned professionals who can provide effective advice to clients and excel at client service. Greer is based at the firm’s Cherry St. address, and Colon is located at the Stratford Road office.

Both Greer and Colon started their careers as management development associates at BB&T (now Truist), where they excelled at client service and remained until this year.

Max GreerGreer started at Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) in 2003 and has developed a focus on commercial banking and capital markets across the Southeast. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in financial management from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Greer also earned a certificate from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He holds FINRA Series 24, 79 and 63 licenses.

Raul ColonColon started at Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T) in 2009 and will focus on commercial banking and commercial real estate lending in Winston-Salem and throughout the Triad. He earned an MBA from Wake Forest University and two bachelor’s degrees (economics and Spanish) from the University of Virginia. He serves as Chairman of the board of State Employees’ Credit Union Family House. He, along with his wife Susan Colon, were named named Outstanding Emerging Philanthropist in 2019 for the NC Triad Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
