Synovus, Pinnacle welcome Tabitha Dobbs to growing South Carolina team

Synovus, which recently merged with Pinnacle Financial Partners, has added banking veteran Tabitha Dobbs to its Midlands, South Carolina team. Dobbs brings more than 25 years of banking experience as an office leader in Camden.

“Tabitha understands what community banking should look like because she’s spent her career helping people solve problems and build long-term relationships,” said Charlie Thompson, client service group area manager for the Sumter area. “She leads with consistency and care, and clients trust her because she takes the time to understand what matters to them and follow through.”

Dobbs previously served as a senior relationship banker with Synovus and has also held leadership roles with First Citizens Bank and Carolina First Bank. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with consumer and small business clients, helping them navigate lending, deposits and everyday financial needs. Dobbs earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lander University.
