Pinnacle Financial Partners Opening New Office in Ooltewah

New location is the firm’s third in Chattanooga

September 24, 2019

Pinnacle Financial Partners is opening a new office in Ooltewah, its third location in Chattanooga. It is expected to open in October at 5544 Little Debbie Parkway, conveniently located near the intersection of I-75 and U.S. Highway 64 and bridging the gap between Ooltewah’s residential developments and commercial and retail centers.

Longtime local banker Gary Reese will serve as the office leader, joined by veteran financial advisor Roger Qualey. Both joined Pinnacle over the summer and bring a combined 49 years of experience to their roles.

“Roger and I have served the people and businesses of Ooltewah for decades,” Reese said. “Being tapped to bring Pinnacle to our community is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This firm has built something great in Chattanooga, and we’re ready to start the next phase by introducing our neighbors to the distinctive service and effective advice we offer.”

Pinnacle’s financial impact on Chattanooga has grown significantly in the last three years, increasing local lending to $1.3 billion and deposits to $992 million as of July 30, 2019. That represents incredible growth rates of 87 percent and 50 percent, respectively, since March 30, 2016. In addition to the new location in Ooltewah, Pinnacle also has offices on Broad Street downtown and on Shallowford Road in East Brainerd, as well as another on Church Street in Cleveland.

“The people of Chattanooga have been very good to us,” said Ryan Murphy, Pinnacle’s area manager for client services in Chattanooga. “This town was ready for the kind of banking experience we promise, and now we’re able to reach more people than ever before. We’re opening in one of the fastest growing communities in the state, in the center of where people live, where they work and where they play. We have already accomplished so much with just two offices, and I can’t wait to see what Gary, Roger and their team will do with a third.”

The Ooltewah office will serve personal and business clients with one financial advisor and four financial specialists who will help clients with their daily needs. They will offer Pinnacle’s full suite of financial services from deposit accounts and mortgages to wealth management and commercial banking. The office also features an ATM and two drive-thru lanes for more convenient service. And it will include Pinnacle’s signature feature, a Learning Center with full audio-visual capabilities for financial education events with clients and neighbors and community meetings.

Pinnacle Financial Partners provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. Pinnacle earned a spot on FORTUNE’s 2019 list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For® in the U.S., its third consecutive appearance. American Banker recognized Pinnacle as one of America’s Best Banks to Work For seven years in a row.

Pinnacle began serving Chattanooga in 2015 when it acquired CapitalMark Bank & Trust, a community institution with an excellent record of service and growth. Pinnacle continues that tradition: the firm is the fourth-largest bank in Chattanooga in terms of deposits and is also one of the fastest growing.

The firm began operations in a single location in downtown Nashville, TN in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $26.5 billion in assets as of June 30, 2019. As the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, Pinnacle operates in 11 primarily urban markets in Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia.
