Dale Mitchell

Dale Mitchell serves as community development coordinator for Pinnacle. Mitchell joined the firm in 2022, bringing more than 30 years of financial services experience to his role. He oversees Community Reinvestment Act initiatives, supporting underserved communities and individuals. Over the years he has created consultative and collaborative partnerships with a vast network of community development nonprofits.

Mitchell graduated from Vanderbilt University and the Southeastern School of Banking. Prior to joining Pinnacle, he was commercial credit portfolio manager in private client services for First Horizon Bank. Mitchell has additional experience in middle market lending and underwriting. Earlier in his career, he led Southeast Community Capital’s statewide lending team and was a branch office manager for a decade at First Union National Bank.

His passions are affordable housing development and microenterprise support services.
