Veteran Banking Leader David Kozak Joins Pinnacle Financial Partners in Asheville

David Kozak has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a senior vice president and financial advisor supporting Pinnacle’s client advisory team. He is based at the firm’s Asheville office on Hendersonville Road.

Kozak has three decades of leadership success and brings a wide array of skills in commercial and consumer banking earned at major financial institutions. He most recently served as the chief credit officer at Asheville Savings Bank. Before that, he led SunTrust’s commercial banking team in the region and was a senior business banking account manager with RBC Centura Bank. He also served in roles at Catawba Valley Bank and First Savings Bank.

Kozak earned his bachelor’s degree from King’s College in Pennsylvania. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards and committees, including the Asheville Rotary Club, United Way, WNC Red Cross, Avista Business Development Corporation, Kiwanis Club of East Burke, Hickory Kiwanis Club, Kiwanis Foundation, Catawba County Home Builders and the Exchange Club of Hickory.
