Trust Advisor Charles Williams Joins Pinnacle Financial Partners

Williams brings local trust services to Pinnacle in the Upstate

Pinnacle Financial Partners is expanding its local offerings in Upstate South Carolina with the addition of a trust portfolio advisor for wealth services, financial planning and portfolio management. Charles Williams has joined the firm’s trust and investment services group and is based at Pinnacle’s office in downtown Greenville at 550 E. McBee Avenue.

“With more than 25 years of wealth experience working with individuals, families and institutions, Charles is an incredible talent in his field. We are very fortunate to have him join our team,” said Erich Hamm, Pinnacle’s trust and investment services manager for the Carolinas and Virginia. “Having Charles on the ground in Greenville furthers our goal of meeting our clients’ every need locally with distinctive service and effective advice.”

Williams builds and manages custom investment portfolio solutions based on individual client needs to help them achieve their goals. He has worked in financial services since 1995, most recently serving at South State Wealth as a senior portfolio manager. Prior to that, he served as a wealth strategist at Wachovia Wealth Management.

Williams earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, as well as his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP)™ and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designations. He is very active in his community, including Scouts BSA, volunteer work for Meals on Wheels of Greenville and The Asheville School.
