Pinnacle to Open New Office in HCA's Tower at 1100 Charlotte in Capitol View

Construction slated to start in early 2017

November 09, 2016

Pinnacle Financial Partners will open its 29th Middle Tennessee full-service banking location in HCA’s new 16-story tower at 1100 Charlotte in the Capitol View development.

“We’re very strategic about when and where we build new offices, and 1100 Charlotte at Capitol View is a perfect fit for us,” Pinnacle Chairman Robert A. McCabe said. “This will be our third office in downtown Nashville, giving our clients who live and work in the city the added convenience of another prime location.”

The ground floor, 4,554 square foot office will continue Pinnacle’s distinctive contemporary architectural style with light wood, blue lighting accents and local artwork. Construction is slated to begin in the first quarter of 2017 with the opening planned for that spring.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming Pinnacle to 1100 Charlotte,” said Milton Johnson, HCA’s chairman and CEO. “We’re delighted that our Sarah Cannon, Parallon and HealthTrust employees at Capitol View, as well as others in the North Gulch area, will have convenient access to a number of amenities, including Pinnacle’s full suite of banking and financial services.”

Raquel Beck will manage the Capitol View office when it opens. She has 18 years of financial services experience and joined Pinnacle in 2015 as a service specialist. Financial advisors Kevin Roddey and Nancy Benskin, currently based in Pinnacle’s Belle Meade and West End offices, respectively, will serve clients from Capitol View.

James Hundley, a senior vice president with Pinnacle Asset Management and financial advisor with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., will move from Pinnacle’s Belle Meade office to manage clients’ investments.

“We have assembled a team of associates who have extensive experience working with young leaders, entrepreneurs and executives,” said Joanne Jackson, Pinnacle’s director of associate and client experience. “Clients will be well served by the effective advice they offer.”

The interior space will include client service areas, five offices, two conference rooms and a Learning Center for meetings, workshops and use by community groups.

Hastings Architecture Associates is designing the office, and R.C. Mathews is the general contractor.

Pinnacle Financial Partners provides a full range of banking, investment, trust, mortgage and insurance products and services designed for businesses and their owners and individuals interested in a comprehensive relationship with their financial institution. The American Banker recognized Pinnacle as the third best bank to work for in the country in 2015.

The firm began operations in a single downtown Nashville location in October 2000 and has since grown to approximately $11 billion in assets as of Sept. 30, 2016. As the second-largest bank holding company headquartered in Tennessee, Pinnacle operates in the state’s four largest markets, Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville and Chattanooga, as well as several surrounding counties.
