Pinnacle Moves into Lynchburg with Addition of Financial Advisor Ryan White

Pinnacle Financial Partners continues its growth trajectory in Southwest Virginia, this time by expanding services into Lynchburg with the addition of Ryan White as a financial advisor in the area. He will serve middle market clients in the region from a temporary office until a permanent location can be secured.

“Ryan is a Lynchburg native, and his dedication to the community will help broaden our reach into areas we have never served before,” said David Allen, Pinnacle’s regional president. “This is a momentous occasion for our company. Pinnacle is a growth organization, and hiring the best financial advisors in our markets is one of the key levers for it. This move into Lynchburg shows that we are here to stay and serious about being a top bank in the marketplace.”

In little more than a month, Pinnacle has boosted its offerings in Virginia with other key hires, including financial consultant Henry Caldwell to serve wealth management needs and Donna Elliott, an experienced and successful mortgage advisor.

“Pinnacle serves an important role in communities like Lynchburg,” White said. “We help support the middle market companies that drive our economy by giving access to financing and making it easy to do business. That’s something the smaller community banks sometimes struggle with and something the large, regional banks are doing less of in cities like ours. My family has been in Lynchburg for generations, and I am proud to be able to serve our local businesses at such a client-focused bank.”

White has 22 years of financial services experience and comes to Pinnacle from BB&T, where he was a market manager serving the South Central Virginia region. Prior to that, he was a branch manager at Wells Fargo and held management positions in business and retail banking there and at First Citizens Bank.

White attended Liberty University and Emory and Henry College. He has served on the boards for the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, American Red Cross and Greater Lynchburg Community Trust.
