Pinnacle Financial Partners Welcomes Benji Anderson as Area Manager for Coastal Region

Benjamin “Benji” Anderson has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as a financial advisor and area manager for the South Carolina coastal region. Anderson is based at Pinnacle’s Morrison Yard office in Charleston and brings more than 20 years of financial services experience to the role.

In this role, Anderson will be responsible for building and leading a team of commercial bankers across the coastal markets to deliver customized financial solutions to local businesses and professionals.

Prior to joining Pinnacle, Anderson served as senior vice president and manager of commercial banking at First Citizens Bank, where he led a team covering markets from Charleston to Hilton Head. His earlier career includes leadership roles at SunTrust Bank (now Truist) and Regions Bank, consistently earning top performance awards and recognition for client service and portfolio growth.

Anderson holds a bachelor’s in accounting from Lander University and is a graduate of the South Carolina Banker School. He is also completing his studies at the prestigious Stonier Graduate School of Banking.

An active community leader, Anderson serves on numerous boards and committees, including the Charleston Chamber of Commerce, CRDA Young Leader Board and the Mount Pleasant Rotary Club, where he previously served as president.
