Pinnacle Financial Partners expands National Capital Region team with two veteran financial advisors
McLean, VA. August 12, 2026 – Pinnacle Financial Partners has added Darryl Curry and Rob Pilot as financial advisors, continuing the firm’s investment in the National Capital Region with two experienced professionals who bring decades of commercial banking expertise and longstanding relationships across Northern Virginia.
Curry brings nearly two decades of commercial and business banking experience helping middle market companies develop financial strategies that support growth. He joins Pinnacle after serving as a senior business relationship manager and director at Capital One, where he partnered with business owners to strengthen profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
Curry’s experience also includes roles at Wells Fargo, and KeyBank, where he worked with business owners on lending, treasury management and deposit solutions tailored to their long-term goals.

Pilot joins Pinnacle with more than 30 years of banking experience serving businesses and individuals throughout Northern Virginia. Most recently serving as senior vice president with Truist following its merger with BB&T, Pilot’s banking career began with First Virginia Bank, giving him more than three decades of experience helping clients navigate changing financial needs while building trusted relationships throughout the region.
