Pinnacle Financial Partners Adds Elswick Smith as Financial Advisor in Greensboro

Pinnacle Financial Partners has added Elswick Smith as a financial advisor at the firm’s Green Valley office in Greensboro. Smith brings 20 years of financial services experience and returns to Pinnacle after retiring from the firm in 2024. He previously joined Pinnacle in 2020 as a mortgage advisor after more than a decade with BB&T.

In his new role, Smith is focused on commercial banking, serving business owners and companies across the Greensboro market with lending and treasury management solutions as part of Pinnacle’s relationship-based approach to banking. He has worked in financial services since 2004, including nearly 13 years with BB&T as a mortgage loan officer before joining Pinnacle in 2020. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly 15 years with VF Corporation. Smith earned his degree from East Carolina University and has spent most of his career serving clients throughout the Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point region.
