Pinnacle Financial Partners has added Joshua Spies as a financial specialist at the firm’s PEER (Pinnacle Economic Empowerment Resource) Center on Dalton Avenue. He brings nearly a decade of banking experience to his role, where he’ll help deliver financial solutions and personalized support to clients in one of the firm’s most community-focused offices.
"Joshua’s ability to build relationships and guide clients through their financial needs is a perfect match for the mission of our PEER Center,” said Sherry Robinson, office leader. “He’s rooted in Charlotte and understands the importance of access and trust in banking. His experience and care for people make him a great fit for this team.”
Spies joins Pinnacle from Fifth Third Bank, where he served as a personal banker working with clients who had assets of up to $2 million. Over the course of his career, he’s also trained associates, supported new office openings, and led frontline service teams. A Charlotte resident, Spies studied at Central Piedmont Community College and holds a North Carolina notary public certification.
The Charlotte PEER Center, located at 413 Dalton Avenue, is part of Pinnacle’s broader initiative to expand access to financial education, affordable lending, and economic opportunity in historically underserved neighborhoods. PEER Centers also serve as hubs for community and nonprofit partnerships focused on workforce development, housing, and small-business support.
