Supporting Nashville’s Booming Economy

Nashville’s status as a boomtown shows no signs of fading anytime soon.

Our metro area continues to enjoy the lowest jobless rate of the state’s four major metropolitan counties, in addition to outpacing the nation’s job growth.

The national media keeps lavishing attention on Nashville for its cultural attractions, restaurant scene and business friendliness. In 2014 alone, Nashville was named the fifth-best city in the country for startups by Nerd Wallet Finance, ranked No. 2 on a Forbes list of big cities leading a manufacturing revival and came in sixth on a New Geography ranking of best large cities in the nation for job growth.

The city’s excellent quality of life, moderate climate and numerous tax advantages are major attractions for corporations and residents alike. According to the latest Census data, Nashville is now one of the nation’s top 25 largest cities, surpassing Baltimore and nipping at the heels of Boston and Washington D.C.

Pinnacle watches the economic data closely because, as Nashville’s largest locally owned bank, our strength and prosperity is interwoven with that of the communities we serve. Pinnacle has a vested interest in ensuring the city continues to boom. We help support the metro area by:

  • Locating and expanding our headquarters in The Pinnacle at Symphony Place, an iconic building that led the way in revitalizing Nashville SoBro’s area.
  • Serving on several boards that shape the direction for the city’s future. In particular, our Chairman Rob McCabe provides pivotal leadership for Nashville Downtown Partnership and Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
  • Supporting multiple cultural and entertainment venues that are vital to making Nashville a vibrant place to live. To name just a few, we proudly patronize Bridgestone Arena, Ryman Auditorium and the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. We’re also proud to be the official bank of the Tennessee Titans.
  • Providing financing and effective advice to thousands of local business owners. More businesses with sales from $1 million to $500 million in Nashville consider us their lead bank than any other bank in Middle Tennessee.

We also support the quality of life in Nashville through financial contributions and associate volunteerism. Our associates share their financial and fundraising talents by serving on boards and committees of nonprofit organizations or simply volunteering for causes that are close their hearts.

We believe a comprehensive approach that supports Nashville’s leaders, business owners and residents is the most effective way to make a difference and keep the city booming.
