Our two trusted legacies, parallel in spirit though separated by time and place, are now uniting for a bold and bright future.

This combination makes your experience with Pinnacle stronger, with an enhanced suite of financial products and services and additional locations across the Southeast, including many markets where Pinnacle has not operated previously.

System and brand conversions are expected to take place in the first half of 2027. Until then, little to nothing will change about your Pinnacle experience. In the meantime, this is what you can expect from the combined firm.

  • Familiar Faces
    Pinnacle’s people are the most important ingredient to a great banking experience. Your relationship with the firm and the team members you work with will not change. Neither will your accounts and services.
  • More Convenience
    The combined firm will operate from approximately 400 offices in nine states.
    • Pinnacle clients have immediate access to withdraw cash and check balances at every Synovus ATM at no charge. 
    • Until conversion in 2027, Synovus offices cannot process transactions for Pinnacle accounts, and Pinnacle offices cannot process transactions for Synovus accounts.
  • The Same Distinctive Service and Effective Advice
    No matter which bank they started with, every team member at Pinnacle shares the belief that people and relationships are important. Both Pinnacle and Synovus have a long history of being widely recognized for their commitment to exceptional client service. Combined, both banks won 45 Coalition Greenwich Best Bank Awards in 2025.

    Our name is not changing, and we're anchored in two of the Southeast’s most important cities. Pinnacle Bank will still be headquartered in Nashville, TN, with our corporate holding company headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

Now when you call us, an automated voice will answer and ask if you would prefer to speak to a Client Care team member or begin with a self-serve menu. If you choose to self-serve, you can say things like:

“Please check my balance.”
“I need to lock my card.”
“How much interest have I accrued YTD?”
“What is my loan payoff date?”

Remember that you can still say “Client Care” at any time to reach a live team member for assistance.
