Pinnacle and Trusteer Rapport

In 2012 Pinnacle teamed up with IBM to offer Trusteer Rapport to clients for free. Trusteer Rapport was a piece of software clients could download to help detect financial malware.

We are continually evaluating our security measures to ensure we have the right technology in place. In the coming months we will introduce several new cybersecurity and fraud prevention systems and tools that would conflict with Trusteer, so we are asking any Tennessee clients who have downloaded the software to remove it by Dec. 31, 2018. Clients in the Carolinas and Virginia may continue to use it through May 2019.

How do you know it has been installed?

Once installed, a green Trusteer Rapport icon will be displayed near (or in) the browser's address bar when you are viewing a website that is protected by Trusteer Rapport. If the site is unprotected, a gray icon will display instead.

Trusteer icons

If you have downloaded Trusteer Rapport in Tennessee:

  • You will not see the green Trusteer Rapport icon displayed near (or in) your browser’s address bar after Dec. 31 and will no longer receive alerts.
  • Please follow these instructions to remove Trusteer from your computer by Dec. 31 unless you use Trusteer with another financial institution.
