How It Works
Pinnacle’s treasury management team will work with you to choose a compact check scanner model that works best for you based on your needs. Authorized users access the system via a secure internet connection, select the account to deposit into, and simply scan the checks for deposit. As checks are fed through the scanner, it reads the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) line at the bottom of the check and the amount of the check. The scanner simultaneously captures an image of the check. The check images may be viewed on the screen for image quality and verification. The scanned images are then submitted electronically to Pinnacle for deposit, therefore, eliminating a trip to the bank. You will maintain the original checks and destroy them following a defined retention period. Pinnacle maintains an archive of all scanned images for a period of seven years.

To download the software for your scanner, click here. You will choose to save the folder. Once saved, right click on the folder and choose Extract. Open the folder, right click on setup.exe, choose to run as administrator and follow the prompts.
