Rick Arthur serves as Pinnacle’s executive vice president of consumer banking for the Carolinas and Virginia.

Before Pinnacle’s acquisition of BNC Bancorp in 2017, Arthur was executive vice president and chief consumer banking officer at BNC, where he was responsible for all of the consumer-related functions of the company. He began his financial services career in 1995 at NationsBank (Bank of America), where he spent 14 years in a variety of consumer, wealth management, product management, merger integration and commercial leadership roles. In Arthur’s last role at Bank of America, he was a regional manager based in Charlotte covering the Carolinas and Tennessee.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from Clemson University and received a degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the Wharton School in Philadelphia.

Arthur serves the community in Charleston, SC as board chair for the non-profit Park West Campus Education Fund. He is the incoming chair of the Y-Princesses organization for the greater Charleston area and is a YMCA board member. Arthur is also a youth soccer coach.
