Amy O'Bannon Joins Pinnacle as a Financial Advisor

Amy O'BannonAmy O’Bannon has joined Pinnacle Financial Partners’ client services team as a senior vice president and financial advisor. She is based at the firm’s Memphis main office on Shady Grove Road.

O’Bannon brings 25 years of financial services experience to Pinnacle. She most recently comes from the Wealth Management Group at Regions Bank, where she was a wealth advisor focusing on business development and comprehensive planning and portfolio management. Prior wealth management roles were with SunTrust Private Wealth Management, Trustmark National Bank, Raymond James Financial Services, UBS PaineWebber and J.C. Bradford & Company.

O’Bannon earned a degree in paralegal studies from the University of Memphis. She is a graduate of the Southern Trust School, holds series 7, 24, 63 and 65 securities licenses and is licensed in life and health insurance in Tennessee. O’Bannon also holds Certified Wealth Strategist, Accredited Estate Planner and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designations.

She is active in the causes and has served on the board of Gift of Life Mid-South and is a board member and past president for the Memphis Estate Planning Council. O’Bannon is a past board member and past president of the Society of Financial Service Professionals/ Memphis. She is a graduate and past board member of Leadership Germantown and is a past recipient of Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40. O’Bannon’s extensive community involvement includes serving as a youth mentor and volunteering with United Way and Junior Achievement. She is also a former Germantown Education Commissioner, and in 2008 was named to Memphis Woman Magazine’s list of 50 Women Who Make a Difference in Memphis.
